④Simulation Studies
For the evaluation of the availability of the steer-type algorithm to other array configurations, a whole solar image on 21 Apr. 2002 (Fig. 4) obtained by the Nobeyama Radioheliograph is adopted as a model image in simulation. Two array-configuration cases, Y-shape (Fig. 6) case and Spiral (Fig.7) case are taken into consideration, in addition to the T-shape
(Fig.5) case of the Nobeyama Radioheliograph.
In all
cases, the restored images are processed by
the steer-type algorithm with contour-trim level of 0.8 and loop gain
of 0.2, showing good availability to
other array configurations,
e.g. FASR in middle and high frequency
range.
