Microwave «darkening» effect in FPAR
before flare
Fig.14.
RATAN-600 scans of the AR 9077 at wavelengths 2.32 cm, 7.03cm and 13,22 cm for several days from July 11 to July 16.This AR 9077
produced the well-known Bastilia flare
in July 14, 2000. The emission of the quiet Sun is subtracted. The picture demonstrates the "darkening" effect of the AR
radio emission during its passage on the solar disk from July 11 till July 14. We see, that the effect decreases
with a wavelength. The observations
were carried out at the local noon, about 9:00 UT.
